Rio need to be in Jazz clubs not idol business with her voice. Last week I asked where the Rio Sama stans were? Turns out they were just on vacation.

Damn Rio. That was amazing voice. I was surprised hearing it. I guess she has found her calling.

Rio is really relatable... wanting to be good at something and not succeeding in that is indeed upsetting especially in a group of people where you feel like you are left behind and you dont want to cause them trouble either.. that stress is just too real. Although in this case Rio herself isnt even bad she just does things differently than Haruka and Kyoka in my opinion.

Also that ballad was really well sung! Well done Rio and also the audience´s reaction was funny haha im sure a lot of them might have a new favourite :)

Yeah, no. Not in one million years is that type of mature singing ever coming out of the mouth of a girl like Rio. Hahaha.

Why was Rio being self-deprecating even a thing, when she has such a voice.

The way I see it, that singing voice is something she didn't even know she had, precisely because she constantly thought of herself as a total failure of an idol who couldn't do a single thing right.

Manager-kun gave her a chance at a center role. He removed the dancing element altogether, so she could focus entirely on her singing without being distracted by her own mistakes. He made that new song a ballad, something completely different from the usual idol-y, high-energy repertoire, to better fit that emphasis. And he also, y'know, actually addressed the issue Rio had kept hidden from everyone all this time, ultimately giving her some renewed confidence.

The whole thing was staged in such a way that all these factors would add up, and the true beauty of her singing voice would naturally come out :)

Well, I'll just think of her vocal cord size as the equivalent of a random power-up in shounen. The length of ones vocal cords are fixed, which in turn affects the pitch of sound a person makes when singing. For her to reach that low pitch with her underdeveloped frame is the type of supernatural event that can only happen in anime.

It is without a doubt a beautiful voice, but I just can't contain my laughter seeing who's tiny body produces it. Not to mention the stark contrast with her resting voice, which is almost in a constant state of screaming. Out of all three idols, the heaviness & timbre that was present in the singing is most unreal when it comes from Rio.

It's like Kirsten Schaal singing like Lauren Bacall or Audrey Hepburn.

I personally get drawn easily by a beautiful voice... so I wouldn't be surprise that Rio's fan will increase soon... So this is what the manager means about her own uniqueness...

I honestly wish anime were produced a season ahead of time (IOW when spring season is airing, production is underway for winter season and so on), eliminating these sorts of delays, rushing content out/dropping quality that we seem to get to some extent or another every season
